Garden-Variety Trust

The First Sunday in Lent

When we encounter life's challenges, trust in God is often the very last thing we consider. But Jesus in the wilderness reminds us that it is ultimately the only thing that matters. While trust failed in the Garden, Jesus comes to restore it, and it is from trust in God that we draw all our strength for love, ministry, and even the faith that conquers death.
